Gearing up for BHOF 2011.
The Burlesque Hall of Fame pageant application deadline passed this week, with full schedule and lineup details slated for release at some point in late March. The festivities and shows will take place June 2-5 in Las Vegas. Visit the sidebar at right to see the Burlesque Hall of Fame’s beautifully revamped website and check for updates and tickets as information is announced.
And don’t forget to donate: in addition to preserving history, BHOF weekend (formerly referred to as Exotic World) is a return to the mothership for glittery performers. Here’s one of my favorite youtube clips from years past, featuring Miss Exotic World 2005– Michelle L’amour- getting hitched to longtime sweetheart Franky Vivid. Poignant and sweet, yet hilariously officiated by none other than Miss Astrid. Love is grand; better still with “the true weimar fraulein”.
